9 oz | soy wax | toxin-free | premium grade + essential oils | cotton wick
Notes: cedar, black currant, honey, allspice
There’s nothing like a pantry cupboard, a world of possibilities. In the case of my grandparents’ house, they had an entire pantry closet—and it was my favorite place to be. I loved exploring the jars and cans, arranging them in my pretend world as a grocery store worker. I’ve always been drawn to jams and spices, so those notes have a special influence on this candle. A quirk of my grandparent's’ pantry was the pencil sharpener hanging on the wall. I would report to the pantry to sharpen my pencils for math homework that my grandpa would generously help me with at the dining room table. While I never enjoyed math, what I would give to go back in time to have that privileged one-on-one time with my grandpa. This candle was my way of bottling up those sweet memories and putting them in candle form (hence the cedar note, as its scent is often described as pencil shavings).
Note: that third picture doesn’t best describe the “vibe” of the candle, but I found our dog’s head peeking over the table too endearing to resist.
