The Advent Box

$42.00

The Advent box includes:
- a 4oz seasonal candle with notes of evergreen, rosemary, orange peel and chocolate
- 24 seasonal incense cones scented with rosemary and vanilla
-a handmade ceramic incense burning dish thoughtfully made by my friend Michael
-a vintage-inspired pocket notebook to capture thoughts and reflections during the season
-a handmade deck of 24 “acts of kindness” cards for each day of Advent, focusing on both kindness to ourselves and kindness towards others

The chocolate Advent calendar has a soft spot in my heart (hence the chocolate note of the advent candle). My grandma got them for us every Christmas season, and my mom now lovingly carries that torch. Apart from nostalgic family traditions, Advent is my favorite liturgical season. I’m drawn to the idea of cultivating patience amidst the darkest time of year, eagerly awaiting the light—a tough but important spiritual lesson. Christmas is a time when people feel especially inspired to bring light to the world, donating to those in need and being generous with loved ones. While I wish that the giving spirit of Christmas could last the entire year, I appreciate the intentionality of the Advent season reminding us that we belong to one another and that we must take care of one another when the days are cold and dark. To that end, may this box be a welcome companion to the Advent season.
